Elrick Gold Evolution Bolt-On
Here's another gorgeous instrument from Rob Elrick. It features a one piece burl maple top on a super light weight swamp ash body. The top is absolutely out of control. It looks great in pictures but it's just fantastic in person under natural light. We haven't seen a piece of maple burl so thickly figured in years. The grain matched control cavity cover & sculpted neck heel help keep the back of the bass looking sleek & chic too. Fit, finish & set-up are as always outstanding.
Elricks are always super comfortable to play. The neck heel & cutaways provide effortless access to the upper register. The Evolutions always feel comfortable against your body & hang right on the strap. This one is super light at only 8 pounds but still has a full bottom end. It's a fine instrument for slapping or finger style.

35" scale maple neck with 24 fret birdseye maple fingerboard. The Bartolini pickups & 18 volt NTMB preamp with 3 way mid frequency selector make this an incredibly versatile instrument. If there's a sound in your head it's on tap in this bass. A truly fine instrument in every regard.
