Pre Owned Vintage 1992 SR1500 EMG, Bubinga Electric Bass Made in Japan
Rare Vintage Soundgear Series Electric Bass from Ibanez! Made in Japan and featuring a solid Bubinga body and EMG P/J pickups, this model was only produced in 1992. This has been dialed in and set up in-shop and plays great with low action, no issues. Some light finish wear and a couple scrapes on the headstock but in excellent condition for the age! Includes a form-fit Ibanez molded hardshell case which has clearly been on the road once or twice but is fully functional.
SR1500BG
The SR1500 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model by Ibanez introduced for 1992. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the standard line.
The SR1500BG features a double-cutaway bubinga body bolted to a bubinga and wenge neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include an Accu-Cast B-IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing and a pair of EMG PJ passive pickups with an active Power Curve EQ, plastic nut, cosmo black hardware, and Gotoh tuners. The SR1500BG was discontinued after 1992.
