Roland Vintage Alpha Juno-2 (JU-2) Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer, Fully Serviced, MIJ, 1987

The iconic Roland Alpha Juno-2! A 6-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer from Roland’s mid-1980s lineup. Known for its warm analog character, iconic “hoover” sound, and expressive keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, the Juno-2 remains one of the most versatile and underrated vintage Roland synths.

This model expands on the Alpha Juno-1 with a full 61-key keyboard and enhanced performance features, making it equally suited for studio work or live performance.

The Alpha Juno-2 delivers the classic Roland sound with more modern playability than earlier Junos. The addition of velocity and aftertouch makes it far more expressive than a Juno-60 or Juno-106, while still retaining that unmistakable analog warmth.

It’s especially well-known for:

  • Thick analog bass and pads
  • Classic 80s textures
  • The legendary “hoover” rave sound

Condition:

Fully serviced by CAE Sound in San Mateo CA. Good vintage condition with normal cosmetic wear for its age: some oxidation on underside of keys, some wear/stress on holes for music stand (music stand not included), small chip on back corner, small chip on one key (no functional issue).
