A rare vintage beauty from the Fender Custom Shop!!! A 1997 Set-Neck Stratocaster featuring a gorgeous Quilted Maple Top over an Ash Body in classic 3-Tone Sunburst finish. Sounds as good as it looks with dual Texas Special Single Coils paired with a Rare (and now-discontinued) Seymour Duncan Allan Holdsworth F-Spaced Bridge Humbucker (AH1B). Other boutique features include Locking Tuners, an LSR Locking Nut, Painted Headstock, a 22-Fret Rosewood Fingerboard, Sunburst Finish on back of neck, and stunning 3-Ply Mother Of Pearl Pickguard and Backplate. Dialed in and set up in-shop, plays great with low action and no issues. Very clean overall, some moderate finish wear, lite buckle rash, tiny ding on headstock. Includes Original Vintage-Style Tweed Hardshell Case and Certificate of Authenticity. Case has some light cosmetic wear.
