More about 1964 Jaguar Journeyman Relic
New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1964 Jaguar® Journeyman Relic®–bringing the best of mid-‘60s offsets into the spotlight. Sporting Journeyman Relic® lacquer finishes in Faded Aged Burgundy Mist Metallic, Faded Aged Lake Placid Blue and Faded Aged SShoreline Gold Metallic, and period-correct matching painted headcaps, the ’64 Jaguar® looks and feels like it was cherished by musicians for the last six decades, used in countless sessions and out on the road.
Featuring a rift sawn maple neck with ’62-style “C” back-shape and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is comfortable and easy to play. Equipped with a pair of Custom Shop '62 Jaguar® pickups and wiring, this short-scale powerhouse is full of crystal-clear tone rich with harmonics.
Other premium features include 9.5" radius, 22 narrow tall (6105) frets, 3-ply mint green pickguard, vintage-style "floating" tremolo and RSD Jaguar® bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree with tall metal spacer, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.

Time Machine Series
We've taken the concept of reissue instruments even further by crafting meticulous replicas using the same techniques and tooling as the originals.
Journeyman Relic Finish
Used but not abused.
Handed down or changed hands through the years, but mostly played around the house, with the occasional jam session or weekend gig. Has been well taken care of over the years but has finish checking, some “friendly” down-to-the-wood nicks and dings, dullish hardware, and moderate playing wear, a very lucky find.
